At the heart of RAN’s mission lies a dynamic and multifaceted innovation ecosystem, driven by a collaborative spirit and a commitment to evidence-based solutions. We empower communities to identify their most pressing challenges and, working alongside multidisciplinary teams of students and faculty from African universities and local innovators, we cultivate groundbreaking ideas to address them. Supported by the generous Resilience Innovation Fund from USAID, we guide the development and rigorous evaluation of scalable innovations that strengthen resilience across the continent. Our approach prioritizes solutions with inherent sustainability and broad impact. To bring these innovations to life, we provide comprehensive incubation, training, technical support, mentorship, and seed capital further enhanced by our strategic use of Modular Knowledge and Information Transaction Systems (MKITS).
